Ali returns for her final year at Yale to build on her past three years of accomplishments. She has achieved personal bests on both 1-meter and 3-meter at the Penn/Dartmouth meet last year. She finished in the top 16 at Ivy Championships both sophomore and junior year. She has been on the travel team all three years at Yale and has become a strong leader on the team.

Yale was where Ali always wanted to go to college. It has been a wonderful and challenging experience for her. She enjoys the integration between the swimmers and the divers.

Ali grew up in New York City and had nine years of gymnastics experience at level 9/10 before moving into diving during her junior year of high school. She started diving with the Morningside Diving Team, an age group club on the Columbia campus. Despite a late start to her diving career, each year she has continued to show improvement.
