2006: Had one of the most successful rookie seasons in school history... Named first team All-Ivy at first base... Led the Ivy League in doubles (14) and hits (58) and was fourth in batting average (.367)... Her 14 doubles were a Yale record and her 58 hits were just two shy of the school mark... Shared the team Most Valuable Player Award with classmate Katie Edwards... First career home run came against Manhattan... Also homered against Wagner and Princeton... Batted .462 (6-for-13) in the final four games, which earned her Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors... Had a team-best eight-game hitting streak midway through the season and in one stretch had at least one hit in 16 of 17 games... Finished with 18 multi-hit games, including five three-hit performances.
Before Yale: Helped lead Dos Pueblos High School to the CIF SS Division IV championship as a senior, the first state title in school history... A two-time first team all-state selection... Earned first team all-league honors three times... Selected Channel League most valuable player in 2005... Led the Channel League in batting average, home runs, RBI, on base percentage and slugging percentage as a senior... Broke the school record for home runs as a junior and then tied her own record as a senior... Named the Dos Pueblos Athlete of the Year and the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Softball Athlete of the Year in 2005... Played for the SoCal Pumas 18-and-under travel team... Also played basketball for four years at Dos Pueblos.
