Metzger was an honorable mention All-Ivy selection last fall. She was one of only six Bulldogs to start all 17 games and has been a steady contributor since she arrived at Yale. In 2001 she was awarded the Captain’s Cup as Yale’s most oustanding freshman despite missing the last six games with an injury. Her two points were assists against Sacred Heart and Central Connecticut. At Trumbull High School, Metzger was a member of three state championship teams and earned all-state, All-New England and All-America recognition as a senior.
