Gillespie provides the Bulldogs with depth in the midfield. Last year she appeared in victories over Cornell and Sacred Heart. She was a four-time first team all-state selection at Robert Service High School, which went undefeated in her junior and senior seasons and captured the Alaska state championship in three of her four years. In 2002 she was named the Gatorade State Player of the Year and in 2003 she served as team captain.
