NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Women's sailing took first in the 21st Atlantic Coast Championships this weekend at the McNay Family Sailing Center. Yale's 85-point total over 18 races gave them a comfortable victory over second-place Charleston, which finished with a 105-point total.
In the A Division, junior Jane Macky and sophomore Marla Menninger finished second to Tufts with a 47-point total.
In the B Division, junior Kate Hagemann and freshman Elizabeth Brim beat out second-place Charleston to win. The Bulldogs finished with a 38-point total over nine races.
The Regatta was Yale's last for the fall season.
