Tomeo joined the Bulldogs from Northwest Gymnastics. She also competed in the all-around for Mead Senior High School's varsity gymnastics team for three years, earning the Most Valuable Gymnast award in 2003. The team as a whole earned 3rd place at the 2005 Washington State Championships. Individually, Tomeo received First Team All-League honors each year: in 2003 on vault and floor; in 2004 on beam; and in 2005 on bars and floor. Tomeo graduated with honors from Mead Senior High School.
