Hart attended Deerfield Academy where she was a three-sport athlete and rowed for three spring seasons. In 2005 her four won the New England Independent Schools Championship and Deerfield finished third as a team. In the summer of 2005 she rowed for the Quebec team at the Canadian Games. As a downhill skier Hart won the individual title of her regional prep school league twice and was team captain.

Her interests include skiing, biking, baking, the woods and newspapers. She is a freshman in Morse College.
