While rowing for the Potomac Boat Club during high school, Caroline won golds at the 2003 Head of the Charles Youth 1x and the 2005 SRAs 1x. She also reached the quarterfinals of Henley in the 4x and came 13th at 2005 Junior World Championships in the 1x.

During her freshman year at Yale, Caroline won the Youth Eights event at the Head of the Charles and won a silver at Sprints, rowing with the 2V. At the 2006 HOCR, she rowed in the Yale boat that won the Collegiate Eights event.

Caroline is a sophomore in Davenport College.
