During high school, Zoe rowed with the Oakland Strokes crew. Her boat won the Head of the Lake regatta in both 2004 and 2005, and also won the San Diego Crew Classic in 2004.

At Yale, Zoe is a freshman in Pierson College. Her career objective is to become a physician.
