Yale Falls 5-2 to UCSB :: Santoro, Lederman Win for Bulldogs in Loss

Santa Barbara, CA - Yale (4-4) lost to UCSB (5-4) Thursday in its second spring trip match. Juniors Tom Santoro and Josh Lederman were responsible for the lone victories for the Bulldogs in the loss.

At No. 2 doubles, junior Jeff Dawson and sophomore Connor Dawson defeated their opponents 8-3. However, the Bulldogs could not win the doubles point as they dropped both No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.

At No. 5 singles, Santoro battled to a 5-7, 6-2, (10-8) victory over opponent Josh Finkelstein. Lederman defeated his opponent Max Taylor in three sets 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 at No. 6 singles.
