Matt played singles in 10 dual matches last season (primarily in the #6 position) and posted a 4-6 overall record and a 2-2 record in the Ivy League. He saw plenty of starting time his freshman year at the same position playing in 15 dual matches and playing doubles in 11 matches. Matt is a three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete selection. Consistently a top national player in the juniors, he reached his highest national ranking of #10 in singles and #6 in doubles in the 16 & under. He has played all super-national events, winning the "bronze ball" in singles at winter nationals. Matt is an honors graduate of Hewlett High School.
