Lichtenstein Finishes Third in One-Meter Diving at NCAA Zone A Diving Championships

Buffalo, NY - For the second day in a row, senior Jeffrey Lichtenstein competed in an event at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships. For the second day in a row, Lichtenstein placed third in the event in which he competed. After finishing third in the three-meter diving Friday, Lichtenstein finished third in the one-meter diving at the 2008 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships Saturday at the Alumni Arena Natatorium.

Lichtenstein scored a 323.70 in the preliminary round and a 305.85 in the final round to total a score of 629.55.

Pittsburgh's Alex Volovetski and Jeremy Stultz were the only competitors to finish above Lichtenstein in the competition for the second day in a row. Volovetski had a total score of 781.95 and Stultz had a total score of 649.35 in the one-meter diving.
