A native of Montgomery Village, MD, Christopher Pool swam for both Curl Burke swim club and Georgetown Prep High School. With Curl Burke, Christopher has been part of several top 16 age group relays and has competed at the Jr. National level. Pool captained his high school team his senior year that finished top place in the metropolitan area.

Pool is a member of the National Honors Society, the Spanish National Honors Society, is a Scholastic All-American and wishes he could have been valedictorian of his class.

Pool has both a brother, Jonathan, and a sister, Alexia who swim and is the son of Vicky and Douglas Pool.

Pool's proudest moment was winning the team championship title at the high school state meet his senior year. He chose Yale because he likes the dynamic of the team and feels like he can improve greatly both athletically and academically.
