He enjoys sports, and besides swimming, he likes basketball, cycling and triathlon. He also enjoys sports writing and has been a sports writer for Virgin Islands Daily News.

To date Morgan's most memorable athletic moment was carrying the Virgin Islands flag in the closing ceremonies of the 2003 Pan-Am games.

Morgan selected Yale because of the opportunity to balance his athletic and academic interests. Being a History and International Studies double major, he has a wide range of possible career objectives. Morgan selected Yale so that he could have opportunities to sample diverse concentrations and find what might be best for him.

As a freshman, he swam career best times in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 200 IM while making the EISL Conference team. In the summer of 2005, he attended the World Championships in Montreal, Canada, and the World University Games in Izmir, Turkey, representing his native country, the US Virgin Islands.

As a sophomore he again swam career best times at the ECAC Championships where he was 5th in the 200 IM, 8th in the 100 free and 10th in the 200 free. During the summer he attended the Caribbean and Central American Games in Cartagena, Colombia representing the Virgin Islands where he finaled in the 400 IM and qualified with two "A" cuts for the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in the summer of 2007.

At the end of his Junior year, Morgan attended the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro where he semi-finaled in the 200 IM and was on the 7th place 400 Medley Relay team. He later attended the World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand.

As a senior, Morgan still looks for improvement and is confident about the year to come.
