Before Yale: Scored 90 goals in four years at Upper Canada College... Received the Golden Boot Award in 2005 and 2006... Led Upper Canada to three straight league titles and two national titles... Named the MVP at the Canadian National Independent Schools Tournament in 2006... Played club soccer for the Dixie 89ers, which won the Ontario Cup in 2004 and 2005 and runner-up in 2006... Represented Canada in the Maccabiah Games in Israel... Has played in more than 25 international matches in Canada, the U.S., Northern Ireland, Wales and Bermuda.
"I chose Yale not only because of the athletic opportunities and the soccer program, but the academic experience as well," Rose said. "Being the only Canadian on the team, I feel that I need to represent my country and show that Canadians can play soccer after all."
