Franchot joined the team as a sophomore and has made a solid contribution. He appeared in 10 games off the bench last year. His first career goal came against Sacred Heart in 2004, and he made his first start against Hartwick that year. At Andover, he earned the Smoyer Cup for team MVP. He participated in the Maryland State Olympic Development Program as well as the Regional Pool ODP. Franchot was a member of the state champion South Shore United Blazers (Massachusetts) last year, and has played with AC Milan's youth teams during past summers.
