Carlos, who started the final 16 games of the season, earned honorable mention All-Ivy recognition in his rookie year after leading the Bulldogs in assists with four and finishing third on the team in points with eight. His first career point was an assist against American in the Yale Soccer Classic which helped him earn a berth on the all-tournament team. He was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week after scoring and adding an assist in the Bulldogs' 3-1 win over Harvard. He also had a goal and an assist against Rhode Island. Carlos was a New England Prep School All Star at the Taft School. He also was a member of the Connecticut Olympic Development Program and played for the Oakwood Soccer Club. In addition, Carlos ran track at Taft, competing in the 200 and 400-meter dashes. He was the captain of both the soccer and track teams.
