Lamb, 34, is in his eighth year as the Yale quarterback mentor. This is his second year as Offensive Coordinator. His first two signal-callers, Joe Walland and Peter Lee, graduated as two of the most prolific signal-callers in school history and his third, Alvin Cowan, left Yale with more broken records than anyone in Yale football history. He worked at Amherst College for four seasons prior to taking the Yale job and moving to New Haven with Jack Siedlecki, the former Amherst head coach. Lamb coached the quarterbacks and coordinated the Amherst passing game, while producing an All-NESCAC signal-caller. A 1993 Harvard graduate, psychology major and letterman quarterback, Lamb played for ex-Crimson head coach Joe Restic for four seasons. He then went to England to pla yfor the 1994 Leeds Cougars in the British-American Football Association. Lamb completed his masters of science in sports management at the University of Massachusetts in 1996. Lamb, a Natick, Mass., native, and his wife Ainslee Lamb, head coach of Boston College field hockey, have a daughter, Brooklyn Ann.
