         <description><![CDATA[The Yale lightweight crew took on traditional rivals Princeton and Harvard Saturday on the Charles River in Cambridge, Mass. 8-9 mph winds made conditions difficult, but the Bulldogs won three of the five races contested to take home the Vogel Cup. The Eli 1V lost for the first time this season. The Princeton varsity boat (5:49.0) crossed 2.8 seconds ahead of the Bulldog boat (5:51.8), with Harvard's 1V finishing in a time of 5:59.3. The Yale 2V, 1F and 3V were all victorious.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Yale took home the Dodge Cup Saturday, claiming all three races over boats from Columbia and Penn. The host Bulldogs also took four of five races from the Cornell crew. The Yale 1V won comfortably in the morning session, besting Columbia's 1V by 7.30 seconds and Penn's first boat by 9.93 seconds. In the afternoon, the Eli varsity finished 6.2 seconds ahead of Cornell's top boat. The Bulldog second varsity and freshman boats also won twice. The victory in the Dodge Cup is another in a long line of successes for the Bulldogs against Penn and Columbia: Yale has only lost the Dodge Cup twice since 1978.]]></description>

The Yale 1V (5:57.44) topped Georgetown's varsity boat (6:07.41) by a 9.97 second margin. MIT's varsity boat (6:14.00) was 16.56 seconds off the Bulldogs' pace. The Yale 2V and 3V finished first and second respectively in the JV race with Georgetown rounding out the top three. The Elis' 1F (6:05.99) was also victorious topping the Georgetown freshman boat (6:18.19) by 12.2 seconds.]]></description>
