DERBY, Conn. - Yale's crews will face crews from Dartmouth on Saturday at the Gilder Boathouse. The Bulldogs swept all events last year and hope for a repeat performance to ensure continued possession of the race's trophy, the Olympic Axe. This is the Bulldogs' second duel of the season. The first, against Brown, brought mixed results. After two weeks of hard work, the entire squad returns to action in search of victory.
The 2V race will start at 8:00 a.m. Yale's 3V will also race then because Dartmouth cannot field a third varsity boat. At 8:30 a.m., the second freshman fours will race Dartmouth's 2F four. At 9:00 a.m., the 1F eights will face off, to be followed by the first varsity boats at 9:30 a.m.
