Patrick attended Ridgefield High School but rowed for Norwalk River Rowing, in Norwalk, Conn., before coming to Yale. He qualified for the US Rowing Youth National Championships his junior and senior years in the eight, as well as medaling in numerous races throughout his career in the competitive Northeast Region.

In high school Patrick was a National Merit Scholar, and a National Hispanic Scholar. He received the Harvard Book award in his junior year and was a member of his school's National Honor Society. He was also an AP Scholar with Distinction.

Patrick is currently a freshman in Silliman College. He plans to attend law school and would like to enter politics or business. His interests include international affairs, writing and competitive butterfly catching and breeding.
