At East Lyme High School, Patrick captained his crew team and also lettered his sophomore and junior years. He was also named a U.S. Army Reserve Scholar-Athlete.

Patrick is a senior in Timothy Dwight College. He is studying Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, and wishes to pursue a career in Opthamology. His interests are rowing and power lifting. In 2005, Patrick was a member of the 2V boat that beat Harvard in the 140th Yale-Harvard regatta.
