2007: Named Third Team All-America by Baseball America and Second Team All-America by PingBaseball.com...Earned Second Team All-New England and Second Team All-Northeast honors...First Team All-Ivy...Led the NCAA in batting average (.467) and slugging percentage (.873)...Won the G.H. Walker, Jr. Award as Most Valuable Player after setting single-season Yale records for batting average, slugging percentage, home runs (14), hits (70), doubles (17), RBIs (55) and total bases (131)...Moved from the outfield to catcher, making 30 starts behind the plate while also starting 12 games in right field and one in left...Got at least one hit in the first 23 games of the season, breaking a 78-year-old school record for longest hitting streak...Including the final two games of 2006, his streak reached an Ivy-record 25 straight games...Hit home runs in three straight games from April 18-21, including a shot over the manual scoreboard in center field at Yale Field...Had 25 multi-hit games and 15 multi-RBI games...Became the first player in Ivy League history to win Player of the Week honors three weeks in a row (March 20, March 27, April 3)...Hit .452 with six homers and 23 RBIs in Ivy League games.
