The fourth floor serves as the main passageway to three of the newly renovated and created "jewels" in the "crown" of Payne Whitney Gymnasium- The "Ace" Fitness Center, The Brady Squash Center, and the Brooks-Dwyer Varsity Strength and Conditioning Room. The 4th floor hall also contains the administatrative offices for the Director of Physical Education and Sports Camps, and the Director of Outdoor Recreation and Club Sports. If you go past the administrative offices and through the double doors there is a balcony for viewing of the practice/recreation pool.

Located to the left before entering the fitness center is a room that helps bridge the "old" facility with the "new"-the Polo Practice Room. The room has a wooden practice pony with a front mirror and a sloped floor to allow the "rider" to practice his/her polo strokes without leaving the pony.
